Minister of Foreign Affairs Battsetseg Batmunkh received Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Mongolia Kim Jong-gu in connection with the completion of his term in Mongolia.

Minister Battsetseg appreciated the valuable contribution Ambassador Kim Jong-gu made to the expansion of economic, trade, and investment cooperation, including the initiation of the “Economic Partnership Agreement” dialogue, and his active role in strengthening the “Strategic Partnership” relationship between Mongolia and the Republic of Korea during his tenure in Mongolia.

Ambassador Kim Jong-gu expressed gratitude for the support of the Mongolian government and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in all aspects during his tenure. He also highlighted his efforts to strengthen relations and cooperation between the two countries in the future.

At the meeting, Minister of Foreign Affairs Battsetseg Batmunkh presented Ambassador Kim Jong-gu with the "Golden Gerege" of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and wished him success in his future endeavors.
