At the invitation of Speaker of the Jogorku Kenesh (Parliament) of the Kyrgyz Republic Nurlanbek Shakiev, Chairman of the State Great Khural of Mongolia Zandanshatar Gombojav is paying an Official Visit to the Kyrgyz Republic on February 27-29, 2024.

During the Visit, the two Heads of Parliament will hold official talks and exchange views on relations between Mongolia and Kyrgyzstan, cooperation between the two Parliaments, and issues of mutual interest. Also, the Chairman of the State Great Khural Zandanshatar Gombojav is to pay a courtesy call on President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Japarov, and hold a bilateral meeting with Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Akylbek Japarov.

The purpose of the Visit is to maintain the frequency of high level dialogue between Mongolia and the Kyrgyz Republic, deepen mutual trust, strengthen cooperation between legislative bodies, enhance the legal basis of relations, and expand collaboration between parliamentary friendship groups and the Parliament Secretariats of the two countries.
